The story behind the MENA region's data
The Middle East and North Africa publish a lot of data every day: job listings, property ads, company registries. Almost none of it is turned into something a person can read in five minutes. MENA Data Report collects that public data, cleans it, and tells the story it holds, one country and one topic at a time.
What we believe
MENA only
Every report is about the Middle East and North Africa. Global averages hide the region; we look at it directly.
Same method everywhere
Each country is collected and cleaned the same way, so a number in Morocco means the same thing as a number in Kuwait.
Say what the data cannot show
Labels mislead, boards mislabel, and listings are not hires. Every report flags the cases found.
Only allowed sources
If a site’s terms or robots.txt forbid collection, or are unclear, we do not use it.
A clear picture of the region, built in public
The goal is a reference people in the region can rely on: job seekers choosing where to apply, founders sizing a market, journalists checking a claim. It grows topic by topic, and every report stays free to read.
- Now
Job markets
One report per country, built the same way: where the jobs are, who is hiring, which boards carry them, and how often pay is shown.
- Next
Real estate
Prices, rents and supply in the region’s main cities, from public listings, with the same method and the same honesty about gaps.
- Later
The wider economy
Business registries, trade and the digital economy, added one topic at a time, only where the data is public and allowed to be collected.
Watch and follow
Every country report also comes as a short video in Darija on YouTube, and the weekly email brings each new report to your inbox.
