How the data was collected
Tanqeeb is a job aggregator with a site per country. Algeria had 2,572 listings in the last 90 days, so one search was enough: 129 result pages, none failed. Tanqeeb's terms don't prohibit this, its robots.txt allows the pages used, and no personal data was kept.
1. Two Gulf boards, one label

Almost everything comes from two Gulf-based boards, and both file Algeria jobs under "Alger". So the 99% for Algiers says where the boards put the jobs, not where they are: only 11 listings come from boards that don't. LinkedIn has 2.
2. Recruiters and hotels

Emploi Partner, an Algerian recruitment agency, posted 397 listings through Naukri Gulf ("Client of Emploi Partner": accountants, graphic designers, mechanics, sales reps), almost 1 listing in 6 on its own.
Hotels (Marriott 193, Accor 96, Le Méridien 35) are the second group, but no hotel title names an Algerian city, so how many are in Algeria cannot be checked.
Algerian employers do appear further down: Yassir, the ride-hailing and delivery app (49), the public works company EPTP (28), the mobile operator Mobilis (20).
3. A Qatari contractor in Algeria's data
UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company posted 154 listings via Bayt: senior project engineers, HSE coordinators, storekeepers, a "Government Liaison Officer", a "Welfare Officer". UrbaCon is a Qatari contractor, it was among Qatar's top employers in this series (141 listings), and 31 of these titles also appear in the Qatar data. These are most likely jobs in Qatar labelled Algeria. They stay in the totals, as published, and are flagged here.
4. Thirteen salaries
13 of 2,572 listings show a salary (0.5%): 6 on Bayt, 3 on Naukri Gulf, 4 posted by Tanqeeb. Several are placeholders ("AED 1 - 5000", "IQD 1 - 2"). There is nothing to compute a typical salary from.

The "Human Resources" category needs a warning: only 30 of its 340 listings are HR roles. The rest are receptionists, administrative assistants and maintenance agents.

Algeria's weekend is Friday and Saturday, and its working week starts on Sunday. Yet Sunday gets only 7 new listings on an average day, against 42 on Monday. The reason is the boards, not Algeria: Naukri Gulf, which supplies 77% of listings, posts Monday to Friday.

What this data does not show
- Listings on one aggregator, not every job in Algeria, and not hires. Emploitic, Ouedkniss and the national employment agency carry jobs that may not reach Tanqeeb.
- 154 UrbaCon listings are probably jobs in Qatar (kept as published).
- 20.1% look like repeats; counting each once leaves 2,055 distinct roles.
- A missing salary does not mean a job is unpaid.
